Tissue Clearing Kit (Hydrophilic)

Product description: 

The product can be used for clearing of common animal tissues. Tissue clearing is achieved through delipidation and refractive index matching by immersing the tissue sequentially in the hydrophilic chemicals contained in this product following the instruction.

Product features: 

1. The product can be used to clear both intact and sectioned tissues. The cleared tissues are suitable for imaging with common microscopes, such as light sheet microscope and confocal microscope, etc..

2. The product has a high clearing efficiency. For instance, it usually takes 5-7 days to clear an adult mouse brain and ~2 minutes to clear a ~200 μm thick mouse brain slice. 

3. The product can be used to clear tissues with and without endogenous fluorophores. Genetically encoded fluorophores can be preserved with high efficiency after clearing. Fluorescent staining can be applied before or after delipidation following the instruction.

4. The cleared tissue has a high mechanical strength and preserve the cellular and subcellular structures effectively.

5. The product uses low toxicity hydrophilic chemicals for tissue clearing.
